I’m hearing folks talk about depression. Yes, depression is real. But, don’t self diagnose yourself. Do not allow people to diagnose you.
Seek a relationship with the God. Speak to the devil that God doesn’t give you the spirit of fear but power, love and a sound mind. I’m not saying doubt isn’t in your life. But, how do you handle it when trouble knock on your door? Start proclaiming boldly that no weapon shall prosper. Speak that you are an overcomer.
I would like to add my two cents. Understand as we travel down this road called life. We transition. We change. We grow. I pray that you embrace the change. I pray that God give you a mentor to speak to the area in your life that you maybe in.
Don’t be afraid to speak your truth. Proclaim what you are dealing with or goi g through. Don’t live in bondage. Step out in faith.
Not until you are going through something that you are able to tell how much faith you have.
Can you be bold while you are going through?
Pause! Acknowledge the space you are in! Now head back and shoulder’s up! Know that God is still God. Just trust God enough.
While you are trying to figure it out, God has already worked it out.
About Me
One day, I woke up and decided to share my thoughts.
My name is Ethel Rene’e Darnell. I’m a fourth-generation Oaklander, a mother to a 29-year-old son, and a grandmother to a beautiful six-year-old girl. I love to travel, drive up the coast, and visit century-old buildings, each holding its own story.
In 2019, I explored four countries—Haiti, Spain, France, and Italy—each leaving an imprint on my soul. But no matter where I go, I always find peace by the water. The ocean, with its rhythmic waves, soothes my spirit in a way nothing else can.
I hold a Master’s degree in Public Administration, specializing in Public Management and Policy Analysis. But beyond my credentials, I am a storyteller at heart. Writing has been my refuge for years—a place where I can express myself freely, without rules or judgment.
This blog is my space to share what’s on my heart. Whether it’s personal reflections, social issues, business insights, and mindset or the untold stories of people who’ve crossed my path, I write because I believe words have power. Power to heal, to inspire, and to connect.
Welcome to my world of thoughts, experiences, and unfiltered truths. I’m glad you’re here.
