Mind your own business

Happy Monday!

Can you believe that we’ve already made it to May?

For the month I wanted to remind you of three things. Because, I think folks forget about minding their own business. If you say “Mind your own business!” to someone, you’re telling them to stop interfering in things that don’t concern them, or to stop asking personal questions.

See you have:

  • Your business
  • Everyone else’s business
  • God business
Stay in your own business and out of everyone else’s.
  • You would think your own personal business is enough. You think?

My son once shared with me. I think he was about 12 or 13 years old. Your children can feel your heart. He asked me to take a moment and pay attention to all the problems, issues, and concerns I personally have. I took a moment. He said, “Right, the problems, issues, and concerns I have are everyone else’s problems and not my problems.”
In that moment he gave me his strength to realize How blessed, set apart, and different from many. I’m free!

I’ve learned to pray and release my burdens in prayer. Somethings I can let go. Some problems, issues, and concerns linger in my heart. I pray hard for others. I love stepping into what God calls me to pray about.

There is this part of me feel’s defeated. I feel challenged. Here’s why, My heart goes out when I don’t have the power to heal my friends, family members, and even people I don’t know. But, I’ve learned I have to leave some things behind and believe God even when I don’t have the power. Allowing God to do what he does best.

I’ve learned to embrace this special gift God has given me. Some days I forget. But, God always find away to put me in a place to be reminded of how blessed, gifted, and how much I’m loved by him.

The best gift you can give yourself is TIME. -Oprah Winfrey

If I tell you how refresh I feel after taking off work for 30 days. I can take longer I have well over 400 hours of personal leave.

My burden and whats difficulty for me is I pray, I hoped, I wish I could make my community and the world a better place.

I have well over 720 blogs. I believe once you write what’s in your heart and place the words on the page. I believe the space leave your heart. I feel a sense of relief when I write. Writing is a cleansing for me.

My writing allows me to give a piece of me to you. I pray you take time to listen and apply what’s for you.

Learn to become more of yourself. I just pray that your life be blessed.

In addition, always be yourself! Be your true self. Stop wasting your time. Live what is true to you. Get your life in order. You will know when its time. Give yourself time to nurture YOU.

I hear people describe failure. Failure is a big detour. A huge warning sign. If you don’t know what to do. I say do nothing and stand still. Don’t go asking other people. Listen to your own truth. Follow the core inside of you. The power source in my case is God. Surrender to God all things and let go.

Wait, Wait, When was the last time you were able to enjoy your own company?

Make decisions and move on your own time?

Having that kind of freedom is just as important as making plans for what’s next.

Sometimes what’s next can’t be discovered until your mind is free from constant hustle and planning mode and is silenced.

I just felt like sharing a few things on my heart and few podcasts comments I heard this week.

Be blessed and have an amazing week.

Month of May: Mind your own business, stay still so you can gain clarity.
